Yes, the entire festival is free. But, each event will have limited capacity and the audience will be accommodated on a first-come, first served basis.

Festival events are taking place at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, unless otherwise indicated.
The Logan Center is located on the University of Chicago campus at 915 East 60th Street(at Drexel Avenue). The Logan Center’s north entrance is located on East 60th Street, and the south entrance can be accessed by a circular drive on South Drexel Avenue. Bike racks are located near the south entrance on East 60th Street.
Tickets for Ira Glass are free, but limited.
In order to encourage participation in the entire festival, small allotments of ticket vouchers will be given out after four different events throughout the festival on May 9 and May 10.
Ticket vouchers must be exchanged at the Logan Center Box Office (located at the South Entrance) between 6pm-7pm in order to secure a ticket. All other patrons without ticket vouchers will be seated if seats are still available – on a first-come first-served basis – starting at 7:15pm, and can line up at Performance Hall starting at 6pm.
